Kevin oversees all consumer direct lending activity including mortgage, home equity, credit card, vehicle secured, and indirect lending for First Internet Bank. He restructured the mortgage origination channel from a traditional single state platform to a direct internet only nationwide platform. Originations have increased from $144 million in 2009 to $745 million in 2012. He also created and implemented the bank’s online home equity platform and servicing system structure.
Kevin led the selection process and successfully converted the bank’s mortgage and consumer loan origination systems. The mortgage conversion included analyzing integrations and vendors for point of sale, pricing and compliance engines, imaging, and document preparation.
Kevin joined First IB in April 2008 and previously served in a senior management capacity for several financial institutions. He has managed traditional retail, wholesale, and correspondent teams including responsibility for sales, operations, and secondary marketing. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.
