Executive Vice President
Phil Cunningham is the Core Servicing Manager for PNC Mortgage. He is responsible for PNC Mortgage’s loan administration operations and has served in this role since April 2007.
Cunningham joined National City Bank, which was acquired by PNC in January 2009, in August 1997. During his tenure with National City, he assisted in defining National City’s business model for lending operations as member of the corporation’s Best in Class Loan Optimization project team. He has also functioned as a branch manager with First Franklin Financial Corporation, and was formerly the General Manager of National City Home Loan Services. He also served as the Operations and Technology Manager of National City Card Services, the credit card division of National City Corporation.
He possesses twenty-five years of varied executive, managerial, and technical experience. Prior to joining National City, he was a Vice President with First Data Corporation responsible for database marketing and data warehouse product development and management. During the early and mid 1990s, he worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) where he functioned as Manager of Software Development. Prior to beginning his career within the financial services industry, Major Cunningham served as Computer and Telecommunications Systems Development Officer within the United States Air Force for eleven years.
Cunningham holds a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from theUniversity ofArizona and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from The Citadel.
