CFPB MORTGAGE SERVICING RULES

This time next year the nation’s first set of federal mortgage servicing standards governing how companies must treat borrowers will go into effect. The CFPB’s new mortgage servicing rules, contained in RESPA and TILA are complicated and raise numerous operational challenges.

This session will focus in on four of the more challenging rules facing servicers – big and small – including error resolution and requests for information, information management policies and procedures, early intervention with delinquent borrowers and loss mitigation procedures.
