PRINCIPLES AND EXPECTATIONS OF CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION

The right to participate at Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference is essential to create open dialogue between all stakeholders. The conference acknowledges the freedom of expression of speakers, participants, sponsors and exhibitors and is the foundation on which this event was created.

All attendees shall behave in a professional, courteous and respectful manner, refraining from language and actions that might bring discredit upon themselves, their organization, the conference, or SourceMedia, Inc.

Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference encourages discussion and interaction as essential elements of participation, among all conference attendees. This code of conduct includes the prohibition of behavior that leads to any harm, prejudice to any person, or the disruption of the conference or any activity associated with it.

Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference also opposes the destruction of property or the use or threat of physical force by any individual or group of individuals during the conference. The following are meant as guidelines for all conference participants and will also act as a guide for SourceMedia staff as to the circumstances they’ll take action if there are disruptions, threat, or actual violence that prevents a constructive and meaningful participation at Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

Conference Participation:

Additionally, during the conference, SourceMedia, Inc. can revoke the name badge, conference registration, and associated materials, and therefore deny access, to participants who do not adhere to these Principles.

Video and Audio Recording:
Approval must be obtained from SourceMedia conference organizers prior to the videotaping or audio recording of any part of the conference. Failure to receive written permission is grounds for ejection from the Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference and immediate confiscation of video or audio materials.

PROCEDURES INVOLVING DISRUPTIONS AT THE CONFERENCE

Application of the law:
Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference participants are subject to the laws applicable in the United States. Physical force or threats of physical force or destruction of property by conference participants will not be tolerated and will be dealt with in accordance with the laws of the US. Additionally, the response may include escorting participants from the conference venue.

Withdrawal of Admission:
In the event of any disruptions including, harassing or persistently taunting an attendee, speaker, or sponsor/exhibitor, or any other action that does not respect these Principles; the conference may withdraw a participant’s admission and name badge and suspend or cancel the participant’s access to the conference. Violation of the rules is also grounds for ineligibility at future Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference

Public statement:
In the event that freedom of expression is abused, property is destroyed or physical force is used or threatened by a participant, Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference top manager on behalf of SourceMedia may issue a statement concerning the action that reflect the framework of the Principles and Values of Conference Participation.

SECURITY INFORMATION
Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference badges will be required for admittance to all events for security reasons. Badges should be worn and visible at all times. Lost badges should be reported to the conference registration staff immediately. The following badge policies apply throughout the entirety of the conference:

  1. SourceMedia, Inc. is the sole proprietor of Conference badges.
  2. Badges are nontransferable.
  3. Misuse of badges, false certification of individuals as paid conference attendees, efforts to assist unauthorized persons to gain access to any SourceMedia event, or any inappropriate conduct will be just cause for reclaiming badges of any individuals involved. Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference is not obligated to refund any fees to any individual or group expelled from the conference.
