PNC Bank is searching for a divisional manager to oversee mortgage operations in parts of the Mid-Atlantic, South and West, according to a job notice provided to National Mortgage News.
News of the potential hire comes amid reports that the bank might be eyeing certain mortgage units of MetLife Mortgage. (See related story on this website.)
The territory that the manager will oversee is described as the bank's “Central Division.” (It's unclear if the position is a new hire or a replacement.)
A PNC spokesman declined to comment on the job posting. Employment search professionals confirmed the job listing. “It was just posted a week or two ago,” said one employment consultant. “It's a unique role.”
Among all residential funders, PNC Mortgage – which includes the old National City Mortgage unit in Miamisburg, Ohio – ranks 17th nationwide, according to figures compiled by NMN and the Quarterly Data Report. Among servicers it ranks ninth with $137 billion of receivables.
