Appointments are available, but walk-ins will also be accepted. Those seeking positions should bring resumes and references. Impac said it will conduct interviews on site and provide offer letters to qualified candidates.
Bill Ashmore, president of Impac, said the company is looking to fill nearly 100 positions at the new Utah site.
He said “We are looking to fill junior, middle and senior level positions, including underwriters, doc drawers, funders and closers.”
Industry hiring has been gaining steam as housing recovers. The latest U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report finds mortgage companies added 29,000 new hires to their payrolls in 2012, including 2,900 full-time employees in the month of December alone.
