Partner at CBRE Stakeholder Becomes Part of Its Board

Brandon Boze, an executive from CBRE Group’s largest shareholder, has joined the group’s board.

Boze is a partner at ValueAct Capital, which as of Dec. 21 owned 9.7% or 32 million of CBRE Group’s shares.

His previous experience included work in investment banking for Lehman Brothers. He will become the 10th member of CBRE Group’s board, which also includes 10 independent, non-employee directors.

The entire board will be up for election at the company’s annual shareholder meeting in May 2013.

The company, which is active in commercial mortgage banking and real estate services, has been fairly active recently when it comes to hiring and recruiting. It recently made some debt and equity team appointments in Oregon.
