Safeguard Properties is making it easier to conduct business in the South as the company has opened a new office in Richardson, Texas.
The Valley View, Ohio-based field service provider which inspects and maintains defaulted properties for mortgage service companies, lenders, investors and other financial institutions said it is the first tenant to occupy the newly renovated Greenway II.
Safeguard has leased the 22,000 square-foot third floor of the facility. The company plans on bringing more than 200 jobs to the community.
“We are proud to be the first tenant in this facility,” said Alan Jaffa, chief executive officer for Safeguard Properties. “It provides a high-quality work environment and great amenities for our employees, and a local base of operations to better serve our clients located in the Dallas area.”
Besides its main headquarters and this new facility in Texas, Safeguard has three additional locations in Ohio and Kentucky. Jaffa added that this expansion provides a strategic presence for Safeguard in the Dallas area, which is a major hub for the mortgage servicing industry.
Functions performed at the new facility, which became fully operational this week, include client account relations, operations, loss management, field quality control and code compliance.
