The new company aims to provide institutional quality real estate investments for high net worth investors seeking replacement property for 1031 exchanges and regular cash investments in an effort to maximize risk-adjusted returns and tax advantages.
It uses the Delaware Statutory Trust structure to syndicate properties in small units for acquisition by qualified high net worth investors.
Rogers said in press release that the company “intends to structure DST offerings with properties that have long-term, triple net leases with investment grade tenants” and structure programs for independent broker-dealers and their clients nationwide.
The company’s Capital Square Management affiliate provides loan sourcing assistance for private clients such as acquisition, asset and property management. Private clients include high net worth individuals, private equity firms, family offices and institutional investors.
It currently oversees a portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use assets in Virginia, Georgia, Florida and Wisconsin.
