Brea-ResMAE Mortgage Corp. has appointed Jeffrey Thompson as regional vice president for the company's Northeast territory.

Mr. Thompson will be responsible for the continuing development of an outside sales team, in addition to an internal sales team.

Prior to joining ResMAE, Mr. Thompson was a regional manager for Acoustic Home Loans. He has also managed retail sales teams as president of Atlantic Capital and has held several positions at Long Beach Mortgage including senior credit officer/regional service manager.

Pasadena-IndyMac Bank has made a series of nationwide new hires and promotions.

Ted Tekippe was promoted to vice president of mortgage loan administration in the West Covina, Calif., regional office of IndyMac's Consumer Bank division. He has been with IndyMac for two years.

Poway-eAppraiseIT said that DeAnna McCann has been named senior vice president and chief marketing officer for the company. She will also head eAppraiseIT's valuation consultants and client relations units.

Ms. McCann joined eAppraiseIT in 2000 and has held a series of management positions including vice president of valuation consulting for the company's Western region, operations manager and manager of the review and appraisal panel management department.

She began her career as a field appraiser with Martin+Wood Appraisal Service in Toledo, Ohio.

Santa Ana-The First American Corp. said that Frank V. McMahon has been named vice chairman and chief financial officer.

Mr. McMahon, currently a managing director with Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., will join First American on March 31.

He will be responsible for First American's financial reporting division, capital markets activities, investor relations and will oversee the operations of First American Trust and First Security Thrift.

He has managed the West Coast financial institutions practice for Lehman Brothers for the last six years and managed a similar group for Merrill Lynch from 1994 to 1999.

Simi Valley-Countrywide Home Loans' Portfolio Services Group has promoted Brennan Walters to assistant vice president, business development.

In this role, Mr. Walters will develop subservicing partnership opportunities within the residential mortgage industry.

Previously, he was a senior account manager for the Portfolio Services Group managing subservicing clients. Mr. Walters joined Countrywide in July of 2003.


Jacksonville-The Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions division of Fidelity National Information Services Inc. said that John Hensley has joined the company as vice president of product management and software development for its broker mortgage solutions group.

Mr. Hensley brings 20 years of experience in the areas of real estate business processes, management and software systems.

Previously he has served as chief technical officer for Realigent (HomeSeekers.com Inc.) and prior to that position, he was founder and president of Net Classifieds Inc.


Idaho Falls-DocuTech Corp. has appointed Alethea M. Cox to executive vice president of sales and marketing.

Prior to joining DocuTech, she worked for Idaho Falls-based Malaleuca Inc. as director of sales and marketing.


Chevy Chase-CapitalSource Finance LLC said that Andrew Niesen has joined the company as a business development officer in the structured finance group.

Prior to joining CapitalSource, Mr. Niesen was a vice president in the capital markets group at Textron Financial.

Before joining Textron, he held positions as vice president of the corporate banking groups at both Bank Hapoalim and Wachovia Bank in Philadelphia and assistant vice president of the commercial banking division at Key Bank in Cleveland.


Dallas-First American Real Estate Information Services Inc., a subsidiary of the First American Corp., said that Paul Dauterive has been named president of First American Field Services.

Mr. Dauterive joined First American Real Estate Tax Service in 1996 and went on to hold a number of operations roles.

He moved from his most recent position as chief operating officer at First American subsidiary Source One Services to serve as president of First American Field Services.

Dallas-First American Real Estate Information Services Inc., a subsidiary of the First American Corp., said that Chris McCormick has been named chief operating officer of First American REO Servicing.

Mr. McCormick joined First American REO Servicing in August 2004 as vice president of operations.

His experience in the REO and mortgage servicing industries includes serving as assistant vice president of the REO department with Litton Loan Servicing and as real estate default manager with Washington Mutual.


McLean-Freddie Mac has named Robert Bostrom executive vice president and general counsel.

Mr. Bostrom joins Freddie Mac from Winston & Strawn LLP, where he had been managing partner of the New York office, a member of the firm's executive committee and was head of its financial institutions practice.

He originally joined Winston & Strawn in 1990 and concentrated his practice in financial institutions, regulatory work, and general corporate and finance work.

From 1992 until 1996, he served as executive vice president of legal, regulatory and compliance and general counsel of National Westminster Bancorp.

Richmond-Genworth Financial Inc. has named Samuel D. Marsico senior vice president and chief risk officer.

Mr. Marsico previously was CRO of the company's mortgage insurance business, where he helped support international expansion of mortgage insurance operations.

He brings more than 25 years of experience to his new role. Prior to joining Genworth in 1997, he held positions in areas including audit for Price Waterhouse and finance at the General Electric Co.

Richmond-LandAmerica Financial Group Inc. said that Brian E. Cochran has been appointed national client manager for LandAmerica Assessment Corp.

In this position, Mr. Cochran will manage the team responsible for servicing the company's national commercial clients. He will also oversee new business development and project management.

He has seven years of industry experience and previously served as regional vice president for EMG Inc., a provider of real estate information and assessment services to commercial investors and lenders. He will work out of the company's offices in Atlanta.
