Phillip Cobb Receives USFN Award
USFN has recognized National City Mortgage senior vice president of default administration Phillip J. Cobb as the recipient of its 2006 Servicing Star Leadership Award.
The presentation was made at the National City Mortgage offices by USFN executive board member Richard Rothfuss, president of Lerner Sampson & Rothfuss in Cincinnati.
With a mortgage servicing career spanning more than 20 years, Mr. Cobb has held various positions with National City since joining the company in 1997. His current primary focus is in loan administration.
A Certified Mortgage Banker and frequent speaker at industry conferences and events, Mr. Cobb is a member of the Fannie Mae Default Customer Advisory Group and the Freddie Mac Default Customer Advisory Committee. He also serves on USFN's National Advisory Board, a group of senior-level mortgage servicing executives who provide the organization with input and guidance on industry issues and strategies.
He has previous served as a member of the Fidelity Information Systems Default Functional Advisory Committee.
Initiated in 2004 to recognize the valuable contributions of the servicing community to the industry, USFN's Servicing Star Leadership Award is awarded annually to an outstanding individual who best exemplifies the highest standards of service, ethics and dedication to the mortgage servicing industry.
