FIS Desktop '08 Gets Underway
Fidelity National Information Services has released FIS Desktop 2008, an improved imaging, retrieval, expense and communication management system that provides real-time connectivity to mortgage banking and financial industry players.
FIS said it links default services customers to more than 10,000 vendors, service providers and investors through a single user-interface. It also automates some functions and eliminates the need to build multiple interfaces among various data and service providers, the company said.
The FIS Desktop 2008 release includes a redesigned user interface and development framework designed to increase flexibility and allow advanced integration.
It allows users to view all active loans in the FIS Mortgage Servicing Package and to launch workflows from mortgage servicing systems using a combination of business rules.
