Scottsdale-Zaio Corp. appointed Mark R. Chapin as vice president, zone sales. Most recently Mr. Chapin served FIS Valuation Solutions (formerly Hansen Quality) as senior vice president for business development, and prior to that post was executive vice president and chief appraisal officer for Forum Technologies. From the late 1980s, he served Record Data as a regional chief appraiser then spent 12 years as chief appraiser for General American Corp.
Walnut Creek-The PMI Group Inc. appointed Jon Ballard as vice president of field servicing and will be based in Austin, Texas.
Mr. Ballard comes to PMI from Radian Guaranty Inc., where he served most recently as vice president of mortgage risk.
While at Radian, he developed insurable risk guidelines and was responsible for loss mitigation, counterparty servicing, credit policies, transaction and portfolio analysis, and international mortgage risk policy.
Prior to Radian, he held several management positions, including assistant vice president of default servicing at Citizens Federal Bank in Florida.

Washington-NCB has promoted Suzie Liker to assistant vice president and assistant manager of loan review.
Ms. Liker, who works out of the Bank's operations center in Arlington, Va., joined the bank in 1998 as a customer loan associate.
She later worked in operational positions with the bank's corporate banking, and is currently in the loan review division where she has worked for the past four years.
North Miami Beach-Equity One Inc. said that Thomas Caputo joined the company as its president.
Mr. Caputo joins Equity One from Kimco Realty Corp., where he served as executive vice president, heading its portfolio management and acquisition groups.
Prior to joining Kimco in 2000, he was a principal with RREEF, a pension fund advisor, where he was in charge of nationwide retail acquisitions and dispositions and a member of its investment committee.
Prior to joining RREEF in 1983, he was with Colliers Pinkard in Baltimore, where he was the principal in charge of retail leasing.
Waltham-Lewtan Technologies Inc., a provider of asset-backed securities surveillance data, analytics, software, and content for the global securitization industry, appointed Thomas Karanian to the new post of senior vice president of technology and data operations.
He retains his title of chief technology officer.
Mr. Karanian joined Lewtan Technologies in 2005 and prior to this was an officer and vice president of engineering and services of NewsEdge Corp. (originally Desktop Data).
Waltham-Mary Gould has been promoted to director of insurance services at Pro-Teck Services.
In this position Ms. Gould will oversee all of the company's risk management and loss control service offerings.
Her primary focus will be on business development within the property and casualty homeowners market with both new and existing accounts.
Ms. Gould joined Pro-Teck Services in 2002 and has held various management positions in the company's insurance division.
Grand Rapids-Compliance Systems Inc. said that Roger Gudobba has joined the company as its chief strategy officer with responsibilities for new business development and strategic planning.
Mr. Gudobba brings over 20 years of experience to the mortgage business unit, most recently as a senior principal with Wolters Kluwer Financial Services.
In 2004, he was the recipient of Mortgage Technology magazine's Steve Fraser Award.
Harrison-Garnet Capital Advisors LLC said that Maurice H. Hartigan II has joined the firm as limited partner and director of strategic development.
In this capacity, Mr. Hartigan will manage Garnet's strategic planning process and support the firm's senior-level client relationships.
He joins Garnet following 43 years in the financial services industry, most recently as CEO of the Risk Management Association. He retired from RMA in July 2007.
Previously, he held senior positions in both client and risk management at PNC Financial Services and at Chemical Bank (now JPMorgan Chase), where he was head of wholesale client management, head of international banking and chair of the credit risk policy committee.
New York-Mission Capital Advisors LLC said that Terence Bundy has joined the company as an analyst.
Mr. Bundy joined Mission Capital Advisors from Merrill Lynch, where, from 2007-2008, he was an analyst of global markets and investment banking within the company's loan securitization group that focused on fixed, floating and standalone CMBS executions.
From 2005-2007, he was a collateral analyst for Deloitte & Touche LLP, dealing primarily with the CMBS market.
Mr. Bundy also brings additional experience from positions at Bear Stearns and Hamilton Osborne King in Dublin.
Uniondale-Arbor Commercial Mortgage promoted Valerie Sganga to vice president, operations.
Ms. Sganga will manage the legal due diligence and closing of Fannie Mae and structured transactions as well as the coordination of warehouse fundings. She previously held the title of assistant vice president, operations, and joined Arbor in December 1999 as a closing coordinator and has held positions in both capital markets and the legal department.
Uniondale-Arbor Commercial Mortgage LLC promoted John Natalone to executive vice president. He is responsible for managing all financing and bank relationships for the company, and will also oversee Arbor's treasury and servicing operations.
Mr. Natalone joined Arbor in 1991 and is a member of Arbor Realty Trust's loan committee and serves on Arbor Commercial Mortgage's risk management committee. Prior to joining Arbor, he held positions at GE Mortgage and Ernst & Young.
