AllRegs 'Hotline' Delivers FHA Support Service

In response to recent legislative and regulatory changes affecting Federal Housing Administration loans, AllRegs has created a service to support the increased use of FHA loan programs. Known as the AllRegs FHA Hotline, this service is being made available to support the industry at a time when FHA business is growing exponentially and organizations are looking for resources to get them in the game.

The AllRegs FHA Hotline will provide answers to questions about the FHA program, program changes, how to become an FHA lender, business advice on what to do with borrowers as it applies to the FHA, interpretation of the regulations and interpretation of the new law recently enacted. Advice on operational details with regard to FHA loans, processes, downpayments and other matters will be provided.

"Our customers want a person they can ask questions of regarding FHA loans. They need help and our FHA Hotline is here to support them," said Dan Thoms, senior vice president of AllRegs, in a news release. "Our FHA Solution Center, which integrates our publishing of the FHA manuals in AllRegs Online, is now responsible for training thousands of folks in their buildings across the country."

The AllRegs FHA Hotline features the following benefits:

* Answers to FHA loan program questions, as provided by industry experts.

* Option to submit questions via e-mail or phone.

* Available Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Central Time).

* Access to FHA searchable online content in the AllRegs Information Service.

* Instructions on how to become an FHA lender.

* Access to recent articles on FHA programs, written by AllRegs contributing authors.

There are two service level options for participants, an individual level and a corporate level. The individual level service option is suggested for the mortgage broker or the company with just one or two questions needing an answer.

The corporate level service is suggested for the branch, region or organization that is moving into FHA and needs assurance that they will have someone to answer questions as they move through this busy year with a new product. It supports unlimited questions and time by the staff members for all of the authorized users identified. Subscriptions will be available in monthly or quarterly options.

To support the AllRegs FHA Hotline and answer questions, AllRegs has formed an agreement with Mortgage Dynamics Inc., a management consulting firm offering a full line of advisory and outsourcing solutions.

Since 1987, MDI has advised over 600 companies and reviewed hundreds of mortgage operations of all sizes.

Their clients include large banks, community lenders, mortgage companies, major investors, Wall Street firms, warehouse lenders and government entities. Mortgage Dynamics has offices in Virginia, Maryland, New York and Colorado.

First introduced in 1989, AllRegs is used by virtually all of the top 100 lenders as well as throughout numerous governmental agencies, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the FHLBs, FHA, VA, RHS, Ginnie Mae and more.

Separately, AllRegs noted in june that it has been named one of 2008's top 50 service providers by Mortgage Technology Magazine, which is an affiliate of Mortgage Servicing News.
