Orange-Rosario Marin has joined Old Republic Default Management Services, a division of Old Republic National Title Insurance Co.

She will be appointed to the position of vice president of business relations for ORDMS in the Orange office.

Most recently, she served as the California Secretary of State and Consumer Services Agency, and from 2001 to 2003 was the U.S. Treasurer of the United States.

She also was councilwoman and mayor for the city of Huntington Park from 1994 to 2001.

Walnut Creek-The PMI Group Inc. named Andrew Cameron executive vice president, general counsel and secretary.

Mr. Cameron previously held the position of group senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.

He joined PMI in 1998 and became senior vice president and deputy general counsel in 2006, and prior to PMI was senior counsel in the enforcement division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company also named Thomas Jeter group senior vice president, chief accounting officer and corporate controller.

Mr. Jeter previously held the position of senior vice president, chief accounting officer and corporate controller.

He joined PMI in 2002 as assistant corporate controller and prior to PMI was with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he was a senior manager in the financial services division.

COLORADO

Denver-Robert J. Hopp & Associates, a regional provider of legal, default, disposition and title services, said that Sam Smith has been promoted to chief operating officer over all default operations encompassing SafeHaus Asset Management and Robert J. Hopp & Associates operations.

Mr. Smith joined SafeHaus Asset Management under its REO division as a co-founder in 2008 after serving in an executive role at First American REO focused most recently on default and REO operations.

Denver-Kevin Kanouff joined Integrated Asset Services as president of Statebridge Co., its strategic special servicing partner.

Mr. Kanouff previously served as president of The Murrayhill Co.

He is responsible for expanding the IAS offering into special servicing operations.

David McDonnell was named managing director and is responsible for daily operations of the IAS Statebridge special servicing and consulting units.

He previously led development and expansion initiatives for The Murrayhill Co.'s internal consulting group and oversaw servicer evaluations.

Megan Von Wald joined IAS as director of operations at Statebridge.

She brings several years of credit risk management experience from the The Murrayhill Co.

GEORGIA

Atlanta-Primary Capital's retail lending department added two new regional managers, Ashley Hales and Rick Joyner.

Mr. Hales began his mortgage career in December 2001 with 1st Priority Mortgage.

Three and a half years later he started a Wilmington, N.C., office, growing it to six branches within the state.

Mr. Joyner comes to Primary Capital with more than 25 years of lending experience.

Prior to joining Primary Capital, he served as a senior commercial lender for 17 years with Wachovia Bank and Central Carolina Bank.

MICHIGAN

Rochester Hills-Potestivo & Associates PC, a legal services provider to the default servicing industry, hired a new associate attorney Dennis Kamph.

Mr. Kamph joins the firm's bankruptcy department, which represents secured and unsecured creditors in all bankruptcy proceedings.

Prior to joining Potestivo & Associates, he served as a managing attorney for a Michigan-based law firm where in addition to supervising the daily operations he represented clients in debtor bankruptcy, debt collection actions, complex estate plans, litigation and contract review.

NEW YORK

New York-Jefferies made eight appointments within the investment bank's mortgage- and asset-backed securities group, part of the fixed-income division at Jefferies.

Steven Hulett joins as a managing director and co-head of Jefferies' European MBS/ABS group.

He joins from Royal Bank of Scotland where he was a managing director and co-head of the structured product and solutions credit group.

Craig Tipping also joins as a managing director and co-head of Jefferies' European MBS/ABS group.

He joins from Nomura where he was an executive director and head of ABS trading and previously worked at Lehman Brothers.

Marc Allison joins as a senior vice president for MBS/ABS sales.

He joins from Royal Bank of Scotland where he was a director in the structured product and solutions credit group.

Marion Guilbert joins as a senior vice president for MBS/ABS sales.

She was most recently at Lehman Brothers where she was a senior vice president for the securitized product sales group.

Dennis Hollands joins as a senior vice president for MBS/ABS sales.

He joins from Royal Bank of Scotland where he was a director in the structured product and solutions credit group.

Jason O'Brien joins as a senior vice president for MBS/ABS sales.

He joins from Royal Bank of Scotland where he was a director in the structured product and solutions credit group.

Edward Tunstall joins as a senior vice president for MBS/ABS sales.

He joins from Nomura where he was a senior vice president for the securitised product sales group and previously worked at Lehman Brothers.

Hitoshi Masumizu joins as a managing director and head of Jefferies' Asia MBS/ABS group.

He joins from Potomac Capital Limited where he was head of investment banking and previously worked at Countrywide Capital Markets Asia where he headed the financial product division for the Asia Pacific region.
