Loan Modification Conference To be Held in Dallas
Dallas-Following the success of its Best Practices in Loss Mitigation Conference, SourceMedia and Mortgage Servicing News are going back to Texas for The Loan Modification & Fraud Prevention Conference Nov.5-6.
Michael Barr, assistant secretary for financial institutions, U.S. Department of Treasury is one of the speakers lined up to present at the conference, which will take place at the Westin Center. Mr. Barr will discuss the latest developments around the Home Affordable Modification Program.
Based on the preliminary agenda, look for Richard Neiman, superintendent of banks, New York State Banking Department, to provide a keynote address as well as someone from the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
On Friday, Nov. 6, Larry Litton, chief executive officer of Litton Loan Servicing, is tentatively set to share the latest on the company's infrastructure to implement the loan modification program.
