The IL Group, a provider of lender-placed insurance solutions nationwide, named Kevrin Blessing national client relations manager.
His career began as a new loan supervisor with Huntington Mortgage in Columbus, Ohio.
Mr. Blessing also served as an account manager for JPM/Chase.
UnitedTech Lender Services Inc., holding company to UTLS Default Services and UTLS Technology Services, appointed the following company officers: Timothy M. Walsh, president; Kevin Raney, executive vice president, chief operating officer; Baron Wilhelm, executive vice president, administration and outsourcing; Laura A. The First American Corp. appointed Anand Nallathambi as president and chief operating officer of the company's information solutions group.
In this role he will assume responsibility for the information solutions group's strategic positioning and operating activities. In addition, he will continue to oversee the integration of First Advantage Corp. with the information solutions group.
He previously served as chief executive officer and president of First Advantage Corp., which until recently was a majority-owned public subsidiary of First American and a segment within the information solutions group.

Fannie Mae said that Jonathan Plutzik has been elected to the board of directors, where he will serve on the compensation and risk policy and capital committees.
Mr. Plutzik worked at Credit Suisse Group for 24 years, where he served in the government and public finance groups before becoming a global co-head of the financial institutions group at Credit Suisse First Boston.
He retired as vice chairman of Credit Suisse First Boston in 2002.
Iberiabank Corp. appointed Gregg Strader as executive vice president and chief credit officer.
The position of chief credit officer was previously held by Anthony Restel who will continue to serve as chief financial officer for the commercial banking company.
Mr. Strader joined Iberiabank in July 2009 as executive vice president and senior credit officer to lead the company's commercial credit support department.
Prior to joining Iberiabank, he worked for Wachovia Corp. for 23 years and his most recent positions at there included managing director of the real estate special assets area and chief risk officer for its real estate financial services group.
Duane Morris LLP said that Chester Lee has joined the firm in its New York office as a partner in its real estate practice group.
Mr. Lee joins the firm from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he was a real estate partner.
He represents both lenders and borrowers in secured financings and loan restructurings, including construction loans, real estate-owned properties, leasehold financings, debtor-in-possession loans, exit financings, project financings and mezzanine debt.
Franklin Credit Management Corp. said that Jimmy Yan will join the company as executive vice president and managing director of its servicing and asset recovery operations.
Mr. Yan was most recently employed by Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. as vice president, a position he held for over four years, during which time he was responsible for managing a dozen mortgage servicers.
Prior to his position with Deutsche Bank Securities, he had been employed by FCMC as manager of the default operations of its servicing department.
Avista Solutions hired Jerry White to the dual positions of chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
He brings over 25 years of financial experience to Avista, most of which have been spent with technology-focused firms.
Mr. White joins Avista Solutions after five years with Metavante Banking Solutions in Orlando, Fla., and prior to that spent five years with Mitsubishi Power Systems as the company's controller.
Amherst Securities Group said Darrell Wheeler will join the company in early 2010 as a senior managing director and head of CMBS strategy.
Mr. Wheeler will be based out of Amherst's New York office and is joining Amherst to help launch the company's entrance into the CMBS business.
He most recently served as managing director within Citigroup's Global Corporate and Investment Bank, and global head of securitized strategy and analysis at Citigroup, overseeing the ABS research group and serving as the company's lead CMBS strategist.
The Summit Point Group said that Prabhakar Bhogaraju has joined the firm as director and head of decision management.
He will further enhance the firm's capabilities in the application of business rules management systems technology for the financial services industry.
Prior to joining the Summit Point Group, he led design and development for Desktop Underwriter, Fannie Mae's automated underwriting service for the mortgage industry.

Barbara Alexander, who has been one of three Freddie Mac directors the Federal Housing Finance Agency left in place after the company was placed in conservatorship, will step downfrom the board once her term ends in March. She is chairwoman of the business and risk committee and serves on the compensation and executive committees.
Since 2004, she has been a consultant. Before that, she was a senior advisor at UBS Warburg and managing director of its North American construction and furnishing group, corporate finance department.
She is also an executive fellow at the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University.
