Private National Mortgage Acceptance Co. named Steve Bailey as its chief servicing officer.

In this role, Bailey will oversee all mortgage loan servicing activities at PennyMac Loan Services, the company's servicing subsidiary.

He will also serve on the company's executive management team.

Bailey joins the company from Bank of America where he formerly served as the mortgage servicing executive.


Kinecta Federal Credit Union promoted Brian Robinett to senior vice president, chief credit officer.

In his new position, Robinett will serve as a member of the executive team and will oversee mortgage, consumer and business lending, credit policy, loan servicing and collections.

He most recently held the position of first vice president, mortgage lending operations at Kinecta.

Prior roles included managing director/chief operating officer with Countrywide/Bank of America responsible for the wholesale lending division, managing director, prime lending for the same division and SVP, Western division, prime lending.


The First American Corp. named Dan Smith senior vice president of investor relations for the company's information solutions group.

Smith has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services arena, most recently as vice president and chief financial officer of Freddie Mac's multifamily business unit.

Before joining Freddie Mac in 2002, he served as director of corporate development at Teligent Inc. and previously held investment banking positions with Banc of America Securities, SBC Warburg Dillon Read, Smith Barney Shearson and Bankers Trust Co.



Farmington Bank appointed James A. Wilson as senior vice president and director of consumer and residential lending.

Wilson, a banking executive with more than 25 years of experience in national and statewide residential lending, joins Farmington Bank's senior management team in its Farmington headquarters.

Wilson comes to Farmington Bank from Webster Financial where he served as senior vice president of retail and wholesale lending.

Previously, he served at First Union Bank and Centerbank Mortgage Co.



Javier Socorro was promoted to assistant vice president of Thomas D. Wood and Co.

He will be responsible for the underwriting and origination of commercial real estate loans using a variety of lending sources including life insurance companies, banks, credit unions, private money and large institutional sources.

Socorro joined the company in June 2006 as a mortgage analyst and previously served as an assistant to the project manager at Terra Group in Miami.



The StoneHill Group named Chuck Wells as director of compliance and internal audit and Greg Vincent as account executive sales and marketing.

Wells was most recently with Taylor, Bean & Whitaker where he managed the condo policy/review division.

He was also previously with HomeBanc Mortgage Corp. as vice president of quality assurance and internal audit, serving as vice president of closing, post-closing and mortgage loan servicing divisions.

Vincent was most recently with Mittbros Loan Advisory as an affiliated partner.

He also worked with The CIT Group as a sales executive in the mortgage lending division, Superior Bank as AVP of sales and operations, and Altiva Financial as director of secondary marketing.



CWCapital, a subsidiary of CW Financial Services, hired Allan Edelson as senior vice president, and established a new lending office in Chicago.

Edelson is a 25-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry and 15-year veteran of commercial real estate finance.

He was most recently with Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage.



Assured Guaranty Corp. and Assured Guaranty Municipal Corp. said that Gregory Raab has joined AGC and AGM as senior managing director, residential mortgage-backed securities workout.

Most recently, he was chief risk officer and senior managing director of Ambac Assurance Corp., where he led all restructuring, loss mitigation and risk management initiatives.

Raab joined Ambac from General Electric Co., where he was a senior managing director and portfolio manager for GE Equity.



West Coast Bank named Craig Hummel retail and residential lending manager at the company's Wilsonville West Coast Credit Center.

Hummel most recently served as the senior credit administrator at Columbia Bank and Columbia River Bank as chief credit officer.

He replaces retiring executive manager Dagmar Distefano.



GMAC said that Jeffrey Lemieux, senior vice president of fee-based servicing, has been appointed to the position of senior vice president of business lending sales.

Lemieux joined GMAC in June 2009 as senior vice president of fee-based servicing.

Prior to GMAC, he held executive positions at Cerberus Capital Management.

Lemieux is based in the company's Costa Mesa, Calif., office.


Radian Guaranty Inc., the mortgage insurance subsidiary of Radian Group, appointed Brian Frame to the position of director, strategic segment manager.

In his new role, Frame will be responsible for expanding Radian's reach and relationships with credit unions across the United States.

Prior to his new appointment, he served as a senior account manager with Radian, responsible for client accounts throughout the state of Wisconsin.

He has been actively involved with the mortgage banking and insurance industries for the past 25 years.
