Regions Will Use Alltel MSP
Alltel, which recently announced it is selling its mortgage division to Fidelity National, is expanding its relationship with Regions Financial Corp.
Regions Mortgage will use Alltel's Mortgage Servicing Package of software and integrated client-server products to service mortgage loans. The Alltel products automate functions that will help increase customer service responsiveness while bolstering productivity.
Steve Fowler, senior vice president and loan operations manager for Regions Mortgage, described the Alltel system as the "industry standard in loan servicing technology."
"Alltel was willing to work with us to support our business model and help us provide our customers with superior service, while at the same time assist in our focus on growth goals," he said.
Alltel already has a relationship with the mortgage company's parent, Regions Bank, which uses Alltel's retail lending software.
Regions Financial Corp., with $47.4 billion in assets, ranks among the 25 largest financial services companies in the nation. Serving customers throughout the South, it provides traditional commercial and retail banking services.
