Safeco FIS Recognizes Nonprofit Leaders
Deborah Lindholm, pictured second from left, is awarded a check for $5,000 for being selected as one of Safeco Corp.'s 12 national winners of the company's annual Rudy Award, which recognizes extraordinary nonprofit leadership and service to the community. Presenting the check to Ms. Lindholm were representatives from Safeco Financial Institution Solutions, a provider of lender-placed hazard insurance outsourcing located in Santa Ana, Calif. Pictured from left to right are Dale Yellin, president of Safeco FIS, Calla Taylor, manager of risk management solutions, who submitted the nomination of Ms. Lindholm for the award, and Greg Nelson, senior vice president of lender-placed underwriting and claims. Founded in 1997, the Foundation for Women provides programs locally, nationally and internationally that help women in transition, at risk and in crisis. The organization's specific programs are services for homeless women, support for women with life-threatening health diagnoses, mentoring programs for young women and support for micro-credit programs to aid the poorest of the village poor in India.
