IndyMac Selects Technology

First American Default Technologies has been chosen by IndyMac as its foreclosure and bankruptcy process outsource provider.

Under this relationship, First American said it will provide default-related services to IndyMac and its national attorney-trustee network.

"We evaluated several outsource providers and selected First American because of its reputation, menu of services, and strong commitment to technology," said John Lawrence, vice president of Default with IndyMac, in a statement.

To ensure a seamless foreclosure and bankruptcy outsourcing process, IndyMac and its attorney-trustee network have established a joint steering committee to install VendorScape, First American's technology that improves productivity for attorneys and mortgage servicers by streamlining case management functions through its proprietary workflow.

Through its seamless interface with iClear, First American's Web-based invoice management system, VendorScape creates a case management solution and provides improvements to the overall mortgage banking process, First American said.

VendorScape-CMS also can be integrated with attorney case management systems.
