Credit Trade Group Offers Management Certification
Aiming to fill a need for staff qualified in default collections or analyzing credit reports while degrees in credit management do not exist, the National Association of Credit Management is offering these certificate programs: Certified Credit Executive, Credit Business Associate and Credit Business Fellow.
The program is designed to help employers staff their credit department with trained or experienced professionals who can attend ongoing educational classes and seminars offered nationwide, in addition to a two-week summer class at NACM's Graduate School of Financial Management at Princeton University.
Employers can go to NACM to inquire about future employees that are educated and skilled for the credit department. "We wanted to develop something uniquely for those requiring certified credit professionals," says NACM president, Robin Schauseil.
"There are so many skills unique to the credit profession that employers need a specific place to go to find those individuals having that training and/or experience. We believe that the NACM Career Center provides this resource for employers."
Interested parties may access the NACM website (www.nacm.org) and click on the "career center" icon.
NACM supports over 25,000 business credit and financial professionals worldwide with premier industry services, tools and information. NACM and its network of affiliated associations are a leading resource for credit and financial management information and education.
