Folsom-Central Pacific Mortgage promoted Ed Fuchs, who previously held the position of senior vice president of finance and secondary marketing, to executive vice president of finance and secondary marketing.

In his new role, Mr. Fuchs will provide oversight for all aspects of financing including accounting and cash management functions and will also be responsible for secondary marketing.

He has been employed with Central Pacific Mortgage since 1992 and has over 13 years of finance experience.

Simi Valley-Lenders First Choice has named John Corrado as the company's new senior vice president of operations.

Mr. Corrado is responsible for all operations in the Simi Valley processing center. Previously the vice president of closing operations, he joined Lenders First Choice at the company's December 2002 inception.

Prior to joining Lenders First Choice, he held management positions with companies including BridgeSpan Title Co., ValuTexas Title Agency and Fairfax Title and Abstract Inc.

Los Angeles-The Los Angeles office of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP has appointed Peter Smyslowski as a director concentrating on debt placement. In his more than 10 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Smyslowski has closed more than $500,000,000 in debt, mezzanine and equity transactions.

Prior to joining HFF, Mr. Smyslowski was a vice president at George Smith Partners. Prior to that, he was involved in the hospitality and restaurant industry.


Louisville-Zenodata Corp. has named Kirk Hanes vice president of business


Mr. Hanes brings more than 18 years of experience in corporate sales and business development to Zenodata.

Most recently, he has served as president of Summit Performance Partners, Monument, Colo., and senior vice president of sales and support for IHS Engineering, Englewood, Colo.

Mr. Hanes also was senior director of sales and service for Germany-based Beilstein, covering North and South America, the Pacific Rim, and Australia.

Littleton-National City's nationwide Home Equity unit has appointed Christine Vermilyea as wholesale account executive. Ms. Vermilyea will solicit the origination of home equity loans and lines of credit through mortgage brokers throughout the Colorado area for National City Home Equity.

Ms. Vermilyea brings 18 years of mortgage origination experience to National City Home Equity. Most recently she served as a wholesale account executive for ABN Amro/InterFirst. She is a member of the Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers and the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association.


Jacksonville-Decade Systems Corp. has promoted Judy Lysaght to senior vice president of operations.

In this position, Ms. Lysaght will be responsible for the strategic planning and development of the company's integration team, project and process management, new project analysis, training and support.

Ms. Lysaght has been with Decade Systems for four years, serving as both the vice president of client services and the senior integration analyst for the company.

Prior to joining Decade Systems, Ms. Lysaght worked as a systems integration

manager for Jacksonville-based InTuition Inc.

Miami-The Miami office of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP appointed Fred E. Welker III as managing director in the firm's debt capital markets group. Mr. Welker will be responsible for institutional grade property transactions in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Prior to joining Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, he served as president of Realty Financial Advisors Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and executive vice president of Sonnenblick-Goldman Corp. in Miami.

Sunrise-ABN Amro Mortgage Group named Nick Graziadei vice president, sales operations, for its national lending center. In his new position, Mr. Graziadei will serve as national sales manager for AAMG's Mortgage.com lending channel.

Mr. Graziadei has been with AAMG since it acquired the Mortgage.com Web address in December 2000. Prior to joining AAMG, he served as assistant sales manager for the company Mortgage.com, in Sunrise, from June 1998 until it ceased operations in October 2000.


Frankfurt-Moody's Investors Service has appointed the managing director who oversees mortgage-backed securities and other types of structured finance in Europe to a new position.

The managing director, Detlef Scholz, will retain his previous responsibilities in addition to taking on the responsibilities of country manager for Germany.


Fort Wayne-Waterfield Mortgage Co. Inc. has promoted senior vice president of business development, Len Tichy. His responsibilities will now extend to include overseeing the fulfillment and retention departments of Waterfield as senior vice president of business.

Prior to joining Waterfield, Mr. Tichy served as a senior sales executive for the real estate and mortgage industry division of EDS. He is also a member of the National Mortgage Bankers Association and chairman of the association's EDI Committee for Emerging Technology.


Ann Arbor-InterFirst Wholesale Mortgage Lending, a division of ABN Amro Mortgage Group Inc., has added three new account executives to its national sales force.

Lisa Wellner-Moskal will oversee account activity within InterFirst's central sales region. Prior to her position with InterFirst, she served as a sales representative for United Guaranty in St. Louis. Ms. Wellner-Moskal has 11 years experience in the mortgage industry.

Diana Ross will also oversee account activity within InterFirst's central sales region. A 10-year veteran of the mortgage industry, prior to joining InterFirst, Ms. Ross was a branch manager for Norwest in Lombard, Ill.

Shemika Chetham will manage accounts within InterFirst's northeast sales regions and has seven years experience in the mortgage industry.


New York-The Bond Market Association said that a managing director at Lehman Brothers will head its mortgage- and asset-backed securities division in 2004. David N. Sherr, head of Lehman's global mortgage business, will serve as chairman of the division.

Thomas Marano, senior managing director and global head of the mortgage and asset-backed securities departments at Bear Stearns & Co., will serve as vice chairman.

New York-Nomura Securities International Inc. has appointed Donald J. MacKinnon managing director and head of structured credit trading and asset finance.

Mr. MacKinnon was most recently president and CEO of Realm Business Solutions, a private company that provides software and services for the commercial real estate community.

Prior to joining Realm in April 2000, he was a managing director with Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette
