Statelink Upgrades Online Tool

Mortgage Solutions Inc., a Bankers Systems Inc. company here, has enhanced its StateLink service, an online compliance tool that provides continuously updated regulatory information.

The service now includes valuable information concerning regulatory changes that impact closed-end second mortgages, according to the company. The enhancement increases the convenience of StateLink by giving subscribers access to more regulatory information than ever before.

The new functionality is now available to all StateLink subscribers as part of VMP Mortgage Solutions' ongoing efforts to meet the needs of the industry and provide lenders with the most effective tools as possible, the company said in a press release.

"The inclusion of closed-end second mortgage information into StateLink is an excellent example of VMP's efforts to continually add value to our solutions," said Joanne Gaskin, manager of marketing for Bankers Systems' mortgage business unit and VMP Mortgage Solutions. "This enhancement makes StateLink an even greater resource for compliance professionals by giving them more information in one easy-to-use service."

Supported by the VMP Mortgage Solutions compliance staff, StateLink is relied on by professionals across the mortgage lending industry. Subscribers have immediate access to information concerning state licensing, escrow payment responsibilities, recording requirements, assignments, fees, foreclosures, security instruments, disclosure notice information, record retention and predatory lending.

StateLink gives subscribers the unique benefit of actually seeing how regulatory changes affect VMP Mortgage Solutions' inventory by simply clicking on a link to view a sample version of the related document, the company said.

Bankers Systems and VMP Mortgage Solutions are part of Wolters Kluwer's Financial Services business unit, a multinational information services company, based in Amsterdam with operations across North America, Europe and Asia.
