U.S. Bank Gets 'Tier One' Recognition

U.S. Bank Home Mortgage, which recently achieved Freddie Mac's "Tier One" performance rating for excellence in investor reporting and default management for 2004, is among 23 servicers recognized for maintaining a Tier One rating for two or more quarters last year. Dan Arrigoni, president of U.S. Bank Home Mortgage, said the bank is proud of the distinction. "To be a Tier One service provider represents our commitment to deliver five-star-guaranteed service to every customer and every homeowner. We applaud Freddie Mac for upholding outstanding service as a trait to be valued and admired," he said in a company statement.

U.S. Bank Home Mortgage is part of U.S. Bancorp, which has assets of $195 billion, making it the sixth-largest financial holding company in the U.S.
