Irwin Will Use Fidelity System

Irwin Mortgage Corp. has signed a letter of intent to use the Fidelity Information Systems' Mortgage Servicing Platform to automate loan administration, Fidelity said.

Irwin Mortgage, which services in excess of 225,000 mortgage loans, will use MSP to automate loan setup and maintenance, customer service, cashiering, escrow administration, investor accounting, default management and regulatory reporting.

Upon completion of the contract, Fidelity said that Irwin Mortgage will work with Fidelity to create a plan for converting its loans from another company's servicing software to Fidelity's MSP.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Irwin Mortgage is a subsidiary of Irwin

Financial Corp.

Fidelity said its software processes nearly 50% of U.S. residential mortgage loans.
