Fidelity Helps Florida Counties with Deed Recording
Fidelity National Information Services Aptitude Solutions division, a provider of technology for county government automation, has been selected by five Florida counties for automated indexing and redaction services.
The Fidelity products, aiINDEX and aiREDACT, will be used by county clerks in Bay, Clay, Lee, Walton and Santa Rosa Counties. The technology will be incorporated into OnCore, the Fidelity unit's real estate data recording software.
OnCore uses upfront scan technology that digitizes the official record indexing and recording process, reducing internal paper flow and expediting the document recording process. These added solutions enhance automation in the overall real estate deed recording process, increasing data accuracy and accessibility, Fidelity said.
By incorporating aiINDEX, these counties will be able to take advantage of optical character recognition technology, enabling them to seamlessly scan documents and index the real estate deed information without manual intervention. The addition of aiREDACT will also enable these counties to easily remove sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, to ensure compliance with Florida statute.
In a press release issued by Fidelity, Bay County clerk of Circuit Court Harold Bazzel said that aiINDEX is a "groundbreaking technology" that will change the industry. "From past experience, we are certain the technical and customer support team from Aptitude Solutions will ensure a seamless installation and transition into this new technology."
In addition to OnCore and the indexing and redacting technology, Aptitude Solutions offers court document management, Internet search engines for public records, tax deed systems, outsource capability for digitization of microfilm libraries, electronic recording software for internal court departments and external agents.
