Aliso Viejo-GoApply Inc. has appointed Mark Cramer as senior vice president of corporate development. He brings over 12 years of business development and project management experience to the organization.
Mr. Cramer will be responsible for assisting with developing business plans, including mortgage, personal finance and insurance.
Prior to joining GoApply, he served as director of business development for NexTag Inc.
Santa Ana-The First American Corp. said that Kelly J. Dunmore has been promoted to vice president, employee benefits.
Following three years as the retirement benefits manager at a large title company, Ms. Dunmore came to First American in 1996 when she was named retirement benefits coordinator for First American Trust.
She then served two years at First American Title as the assistant vice president and manager of retirement benefits.
Denver-Mortgage Cadence Inc. has named Gerard J. Heinz its chief operating officer.
Mr. Heinz has 30 years of operation and organizational expertise within both the mortgage and technology industry.
In that time, he has held senior roles in finance, secondary marketing, mortgage operations, servicing and mortgage-related technology.
Denver-Kim Kellett and Mark Dellovo have joined Matrix Bancorp Trading. Matrix Bancorp Trading is an affiliate of Matrix Capital Bank.
Prior to joining Matrix, they worked for Lehman Brothers in San Francisco in their fixed-income division specializing in mortgages.
Messrs. Kellett and Dellovo have opened an office in San Francisco for Matrix.
Both had been with Lehman for a combined 25 years, during which time they developed relationships in mortgage banking and other related industries.
Greenwich-RBS Greenwich Capital said that Craig Donaldson has joined the firm as head of North American institutional FX sales.
He will manage the firm's Greenwich and Boston sales teams.
Mr. Donaldson joins RBS Greenwich Capital from Merrill Lynch where he spent the last 12 months, and was with Deutsche Bank for 15 years prior to that, based in both Auckland and New York.
The firm also named Russell Alber, senior vice president, who joins Mr. Donaldson's team in Greenwich from Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Alber will work in conjunction with the RBS sales team in London.

Washington-NCB FSB has promoted Ozlem Colbert to assistant vice president of investor compliance at NCB's Washington headquarters.
Ms. Colbert began her career at NCB in September 2004 as an asset manager for master servicing.
Ms. Colbert came to NCB from Wachovia Multifamily Capital Inc. located in Bethesda, Md., where she performed mortgage servicing and investor reporting duties.
Washington-L. Stephen Smith, president and chief executive officer of PMI Mortgage Insurance Co., has been elected president of the Mortgage Insurance Companies of America.
Mr. Smith succeeds William V. Nutt Jr., president and chief executive officer of AIG United Guaranty, who continues to serve as a member of the association's executive committee.
Mr. Smith's career in the housing finance industry covers 34 years. He joined PMI in 1979. PMI is located in Walnut Creek, Calif.
Serving alongside Mr. Smith as MICA vice president and secretary/treasurer will be William A. Simpson, chairman of Republic Mortgage Insurance Co. He is a past president of MICA.
Atlanta-HomeBanc Mortgage Corp. said that Andrea Back and Valerie Vargas have been promoted to senior vice presidents in the company's Atlanta-based corporate marketing department.
With this promotion, Ms. Back assumes responsibility for the HomeBanc Foundation, the company's charitable giving foundation. Previously, she held the title of vice president at HomeBanc.
Ms. Vargas is responsible for HomeBanc's advertising, customer communications and business-to-business strategic partner marketing. She has been with the company for four years.
Prior to joining HomeBanc, Ms. Vargas was in marketing at Cingular Wireless.
Iselin-Chase Home Finance has promoted Thasunda Brown Duckett to senior vice president and manager of emerging markets.
Ms. Duckett joined Chase late last year as vice president of emerging markets, strategic initiatives. She had been director of emerging markets at Fannie Mae.
Before that, she was an account manager with lead responsibility for national account relationships for Fannie Mae-approved seller/servicers.
Ann Arbor-ABN Amro Mortgage Group Inc. has named Randy Conte chief operations officer. In this new position, he will work to create an integrated operating environment across all AAMG locations.
Prior to his new position at AAMG, Mr. Conte served as executive vice president and corporate controller for AAMG's parent company, LaSalle Bank Corp.
His experience also includes director of information technology and global head of business management for SBC Warburg as well as senior manager with Arthur Andersen's consulting practice.
Pittsburgh-Express Financial Services Inc. has added Kevin Weaver to its senior management staff as vice president, national closing operations.
Mr. Weaver was most recently senior vice president and county manager with Diversified Title & Escrow of El Monte, Calif., and has over 20 years of experience in the legal and operations areas of the title insurance industry.

McLean-Freddie Mac named Michael E. Wade to the new position of vice president for external operational risk management. In this position, his duties will include ensuring the high quality of Freddie Mac's single-family operations, the analysis of seller/servicers' underwriting processes, management of on-site quality control and operational audits, and the development and implementation of quality control and operational policies and procedures. Mr. Wade previously was senior vice president of credit policy and strategy at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
