Stearns Lending, a nonbank mortgage lender in Santa Ana, Calif., has hired a former Bank of America executive and banking veteran to lead its retail lending growth efforts.
John Adam has been named executive vice president and national head of retail lending, Stearns Lending said in a press release Thursday.
Prior to joining Stearns, Adam served as the Northeast sales executive for Bank of America, where in addition to leading a 500-member retail sales team, he was involved in sales training and product development. His decades of banking experience also include 14 years at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
"Adam is an exceptional leader whose 30 years of retail mortgage experience will be invaluable to our strategic goals of growth," said Brian Hale, chief executive officer of Stearns Lending. "Stearns is pleased to welcome someone of John's caliber to the senior executive team."
