Nations Direct Mortgage has promoted Martin Warren to senior vice president of wholesale and correspondent lending.

In his role, Warren will lead the sales and fulfillment teams for the wholesale and correspondent channels.

He has been a partner at Nations Direct Mortgage for over eight years since joining the company in 2007.

PALM DESERT

James Gross and Ben Mireles have joined Franklin Loan Center.

Gross will serve as regional manager for the Southern region which encompasses the Inland Empire as well as San Diego County.

He previously served with Prospect Mortgage, JPMorgan Chase and WJ Bradley.

Mireles has been appointed manager for Franklin Loan Center's new branch in Temecula, Calif.

He previously served with Prospect Mortgage, World Savings, Wachovia and Countrywide-Bank of America.

PLEASANTON

Ellie Mae said that Shamyo Chatterjee has joined the company as vice president of IT.

Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Sham served as the CIO of CallidusCloud for over 12 years, where he held varying responsibilities over corporate IT, SaaS operations, security and compliance, and facilities organizations.

Prior to CallidusCloud, he was the director of IT for The 3DO Co.

SANTA ROSA

Luther Burbank Savings said that Robert Armstrong has joined the bank as senior vice president of its online banking division.

In this newly created role, Armstrong is charged with expanding the bank's offerings and creating greater access to its products and services.

Bringing over two decades of experience leading profitable growth in new markets, Armstrong's background includes senior positions with Bank of America, also having served as market president of U.S. Bank, CEO of San Diego Private Bank, and head of business and private banking at Bank of Internet.

ATLANTA

Atlantic Capital Bancshares has named Steven Alexander as director of mortgage for the Atlanta region.

He most recently served as managing director of mortgage for Iberia Bank Mortgage, formally known as Georgia Commerce Bank.

Alexander brings over 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry to Atlantic Capital.

MICHIGAN

DETROIT

Quicken Loans said that John Fikany has joined the company as vice president of strategy.

Most recently, Fikany served as general manager and vice president of Microsoft's Enterprise Sales and Partner Group.

In his 12 years at the company he also held a number of other senior level roles, including vice president of U.S. commercial sector industries.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Fikany also held multiple vice president sales roles at Oracle.

Marketplace Home Mortgage has named Greg Ettinger its chief development officer position.

Ettinger joins MHM from Tradition Mortgage, where he served as the vice president of production and business development.

He will oversee sales, marketing and business development initiatives.

Berkadia has hired Scott Melnick to its multifamily investment sales team as senior managing director.

Melnick brings 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry to Berkadia, where he will be responsible for expanding the company's national multifamily investment sales platform in the mid-Atlantic region.

Most recently, he served as managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle's mid-Atlantic multifamily group for nearly six years.
