IRVINE

Impac Mortgage Corp. said that George Mangiaracina has joined the firm's senior management team as executive vice president and managing director.

Mangiaracina will participate on the executive, risk and capital markets committees and will be a member of the CashCall transition team.

In addition, he will work closely with the Macquarie Group to further the company's initiative with its AltQM loan programs.

Mangiaracina brings over 25 years of experience and relationships to the firm.

He served as managing director at UBS and Deutsche Bank from 1992 through 2013, directly responsible for financing a wide array of asset classes including residential whole loan, manufactured housing and franchise receivables.

IRVINE

HomeBridge Wholesale said that Craig Chapman has joined the company in the newly created role of Eastern divisional sales manager, based in Washington.

Chapman will work with HomeBridge's regional sales managers and account executives in expanding the company's presence and solidifying its existing relationships with brokers throughout the Eastern U.S.

He brings to HomeBridge more than 20 years of lending industry experience.

Previously, Chapman assisted with the formation of 1st Commonwealth Bank of Virginia, a de novo bank based in Arlington, Va.

CONNECTICUT

Clayton Holdings, a provider of loan due diligence, surveillance, REO management and consulting services to the mortgage industry and the parent of Green River Capital, announced several leadership changes: specifically, Lorenz Schwarz, the president of GRC, has been promoted to a new executive role at Clayton.

Tim Reilly will succeed Schwarz as president after serving as GRC's COO. Patrick Cosgriff, Scott Mowry and Jeff Berg were also promoted to new strategic positions to drive growth.

Schwarz has been named executive vice president of strategic initiatives and new business at Clayton.

Prior to joining GRC in 2011, he was president of Phoenix Asset Management, and also held top management positions with Select Portfolio Servicing, Wilshire Credit Corp. and J.E. Robert Co.

Reilly, who joined the company in 2012, has more than 20 years of experience, having held executive positions in default and asset management with Bank United, Deutsche Bank Securities, Impac Cos, ABN-Amro and Fairbanks Capital Corp.

Cosgriff, who was managing director of strategic initiatives, will now be senior vice president of transaction management.

He has been with Clayton for more than eight years and previously served as vice president of finance.

Mowry, who was senior vice president of transaction management, will be senior vice president of key client initiatives.

He has been with the company for more than a decade and prior to joining Clayton in 2003 was director of collections at HSBC.

Berg, who was director of product development and strategy, will be vice president of key client initiatives.

Prior to joining Clayton in 2007, he was operations team lead at Murrayhill Co.

FLORIDA

MIAMI LAKES

BankUnited appointed banking and mortgage industry veteran Joseph Stanganelli as national sales leader for its residential mortgage division.

Bringing nearly 30 years of industry experience to his new position, Stanganelli will oversee residential lending operations, including sales origination and affordable housing lending initiatives, in Florida, New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.

He has held senior leadership positions at PNC Bank, Countrywide, Thornburg Mortgage and Bank of America.

TEXAS

PLANO

Mortgage Contracting Services, a provider of property preservation, inspections, REO property maintenance and valuations to the financial services industry, named Greg Smith assistant vice president of compliance in the company's Ruston, La., office.

In his new position, Smith will oversee the quality assurance and quality control functions in Ruston for both MCS' field services and valuations operations.

Before joining MCS, he was trust operations manager at Argent Financial Group in Ruston.
