Auction.com named former LinkedIn and Yahoo engineer Lawrence Yuan as senior director of engineering.

Yuan, who has spent the last four years leading various engineering teams within LinkedIn, including those responsible for the LinkedIn homepage, news feed, notification and email products, will oversee the development of web and mobile products and applications that enhance how buyers, sellers and real estate professionals access and interact with the Auction.com platform.

A 17-year tech industry veteran, Yuan is co-inventor of six patent-pending algorithms and frameworks that have helped social media platforms tailor message delivery times.

LenderLive Network Inc. said that Mark Litzel has joined the firm as vice president of national sales for the company's settlement services division.

Litzel brings more than 20 years of experience and innovation to LenderLive.

Most recently, he was vice president of sales with American Mortgage Consultants.

During his career, Litzel has held senior sales positions at First American Data Tree, PCV Murcor Real Estate Services, Landsafe Inc. and LSI.

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

WASHINGTON

Venable LLP said that Richard Andrew Arculin, former senior counsel at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Office of Regulations, has joined the firm as a counsel in its Washington office.

He joins the firm's CFPB Task Force that includes noted practitioners across all areas of consumer financial services and banking regulation, advertising and marketing law, privacy and data security, and government investigations and enforcement.

Arculin arrives from the CFPB, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of sweeping consumer financial services regulations under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Truth in Lending Act and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act under the Dodd-Frank Act's mortgage rules.

The firm also recently added former Sen. Mark Pryor, and former Arkansas attorney general, who is playing a major role in the firm's government affairs, state attorneys general and regulatory practices, and Michael Bresnick, former executive director of the president's Financial Fraud Enforcement Task Force, who also served as assistant chief in the fraud section of the Department of Justice's Criminal Division.

Primary Capital Mortgage expanded its management team with the addition of Walt Carter as chief information officer.

Carter joins Primary Capital Mortgage with over 25 years in technology leadership roles.

Prior to Primary Capital Mortgage, he was the CIO at Generation Mortgage Co. where he established data center operations.

Walker & Dunlop promoted senior vice president Brian Casey to head the Company's mid-Atlantic capital markets team.

Casey has been with Walker & Dunlop for two years building the company's balance sheet lending activities.

Prior to joining the company, he served as managing director and head of real estate debt strategies at Met Life.

UTAH

SALT LAKE CITY

Green River Capital, a provider of REO asset management and loss mitigation services for mortgage servicers, investment firms and banking institutions, said that Katie Brewer has joined the company as chief operating officer.

Brewer has had more than a decade of experience in the default servicing industry.

Most recently, she was vice president of collateral based solutions at Ocwen Loan Servicing.

Brewer began her career at GMAC ResCap, where she held various positions, starting as a loss mitigation specialist and eventually becoming vice president of liquidations.

SALT LAKE CITY

Flagship Financial Group said that Brock Worthen has joined the company as general counsel.

As general counsel, Worthen is Flagship's chief legal officer and will be responsible for providing legal guidance to the company while helping the VA mortgage lender proactively safeguard the financial well-being of veterans.

In addition, he will serve as the chief legal officer for several of Flagship's affiliated companies.

Previously, Worthen worked as a commercial litigator at Snell & Wilmer LLP, where he assisted clients with both legal and business strategies.
