CoreLogic has appointed Stuart Pratt as senior vice president of government and industry relations.
In his role, Pratt will oversee engagement with the administration, Congress, state legislatures and other policymakers, as well as relationships with think tanks, consumer advocacy groups and trade associations.
Most recently, he served as president and chief executive officer of the Consumer Data Industry Association.
LOS ANGELES
RealtyMogul.com, an online marketplace for commercial real estate investing, named Sameer Shamsuddin as chief technology officer and Niall Weintraub as vice president of marketing.
Prior to joining RealtyMogul.com, Shamsuddin spent 17 years at GSI Commerce/eBay Enterprise, where he started as director of software engineering before ultimately becoming international CTO.
Weintraub joins RealtyMogul.com from DogVacay, where he served as the head of acquisition marketing.

William Raveis Mortgage has hired Jose-Vladimir Lopez as an executive mortgage broker.
In his new role, he will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, and establishing new business relationships within the mortgage community and generating a Spanish-speaking customer base.
Lopez joined the company after serving as branch manager and residential loan officer at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp. in East Berlin, Conn.

The StoneHill Group has hired Harold Ellis as underwriting manager.
Most recently, he served as mortgage operations manager at First Commerce Credit Union in Tallahassee, Fla.
Ellis has held management positions at several large mortgage lenders, including Chase Mortgage, PHH Mortgage and Bank of America.

Independent Bank Corp., the holding company of Independent Bank, a Michigan-based community bank, has hired Patrick Ervin as senior vice president, mortgage banking.
Most recently, he was the executive managing director of Talmer Bank & Trust's mortgage banking operations.
Ervin will be based in Troy, Mich., and will co-manage the company's mortgage banking operations, along with Russ Daniel, senior vice president of Independent Bank.

Ditech Financial has hired Robert Groody to lead its consumer lending operations.
He most recently served as managing director of national operations at JPMorgan Chase.
Prior to his time at JPMorgan Chase, Groody served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer for GMAC Bank where he was responsible for driving corporate growth.

International Document Services Inc. has hired Vince Wilson as compliance officer and assistant in-house counsel.
In this role, he will be responsible for maintaining both federal and state compliance matrices and implementing changes to IDS compliance audits based on new laws and regulations.
Prior to joining IDS, Wilson served as chief legal officer for Aukland Pastures, a mortgage holdings company. He also held a senior associate position for at Smith LC (previously Smith Campbell Clifford Kearney & Gore).
