The nomination deadline for the 2014 Mortgage Technology Awards has been extended until 6 p.m. EDT Thursday, July 10.
After receiving feedback from nominees who reported challenges completing the nomination form at the cusp of last week's deadline, the judges panel is making a final call for nominations to ensure that all submissions are received for this year’s awards.
Here are some tips for a successful Mortgage Technology Awards nomination:
— Each category has a unique question list tailored to gather the information most pertinent to that award.
— Prepare concise, clear and specific answers to each question.
— When filling out the form, take note of the maximum characters, including spaces, that are allowed in each entry box.
— Unless noted, nominees must respond to all questions.

Lenders' Choice Award Update
The MT Awards judges panel will choose the three finalists and one winner in each of 11 categories. The finalists and winner of the 12th category, the Lenders' Choice Award, are determined by a separate and different process from the other 11 MT Awards categories.
The process consists of a vote by mortgage lender and servicer professionals to determine the vendors that will be named the finalists and winner of the Lenders' Choice Award category. Rules, eligibility and scoring information for the Lenders' Choice Award will be published with the online ballot following the July 10 final submission deadline.
The winners of the all 12 MT Award categories will be revealed at the 15th Annual Mortgage Technology Awards Ceremony on Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Las Vegas. In addition, the Mortgage Technology Awards finalists and winners will be featured in a special edition of Mortgage Technology magazine.
