ReverseVision Adds Operations Team Months After Outage

Leading reverse mortgage technology provider ReverseVision has created an operations team within its company to improve its capacity management about a month after its RV Express system's last reported outage.

To lead the newly formed team, ReverseVision has brought Tim O'Neal onboard as vice president of operations, the company said in an April 2 press release. O'Neal has operations experience from his executive roles in a diverse array of companies including Bridgepoint Education, Intuit and New Century Mortgage.

With these companies, O'Neil helped increase availability of client-facing systems, implemented cloud strategy and increased data center capacity. He will lead the operations team's effort toward product operations, system monitoring, capacity planning, backup and recovery.

O'Neal will be joined by Ron Potter and former Atlas REO employee David Perkins, who himself has a background in enterprise technology platforms and implementing banking standards.

"ReverseVision is committed to providing the most powerful and reliable technology to support the RV Exchange system today and in the future," said ReverseVision President John Button in the release. "The addition of the operations team ensures we are best positioned for reliable growth to support our customer and the industry."

The addition of an operations team follows outages of the RV Express system at the end of January and February during the monthly peak of mortgage origination. A failed piece of hardware caused the January outage after a team had finished doing work on the system to increase its capacity.
