Albert Burney to Manage Three Bank Ordered Auctions

Albert Burney, an auction company specializing in land, commercial properties, home sites, homes and other high-end real estate, will manage three bank-ordered auctions in southeast Georgia and South Carolina through June 18.

Auction sites include two luxury homes and five lots in Ford Plantation in Richmond Hills, Ga., two commercial opportunities in Savannah, Ga., and West Columbia, S.C., and three parcels in Sylvania, Ga.

The first bank-ordered auction will feature two water view luxury homes and five water view home sites in Savannah’s Ford Plantation. The auction takes place on June 16 at 2 p.m. at 91 Captain’s Walk in Ford Plantation.

All five water view lots will be auctioned regardless of price.

Club members at Ford Plantation have the luxury of utilizing a golf course, fly and spin fishing, more than 10 miles of horse and hiking trails, a deepwater marina, squash, tennis and easy access to the state’s beaches.

“The auction at Ford Plantation provides an unprecedented opportunity to buy luxury water view homes at or above a high bid of $250,000 with all five home sites selling regardless of price,” said Warren Ward, owner of Albert Burney.

The second bank-ordered auction is set to take place on June 17 at 10 a.m. The commercial lot is located at Southern Oaks Business Center and it is an 85-acre land development project.

Another bank-ordered auction that the company will manage is the Savannah River Preserve. The Preserve is comprised of 1,217 acres of land with almost 250 riverfront acres in Sylvania. The property includes 180 acres of bird and deer food plots and provides an ideal location for hunting and other outdoor recreation.

The seller will be giving up the property as three separate tracts or as an entirety.

The first parcel has 524 acres and 2,533 square feet. It features a main lodge with a kitchen, meeting room, game room and a master suite. Additional lodging includes four one bedroom, one bathroom cabins. Each lodge has its own kitchen area.

This parcel also includes an assortment of outbuildings and recreational fields.

“It’s a sportsman’s dream,” said Ward. “It is one of the most inclusive recreational properties we have offered—from world-class wing shooting, deer and turkey hunting to fishing. From sporting clay range to indoor archery, this property has it all. It is a world-class hunting preserve and it’s located just minutes from Savannah.”

The second parcel contains 444 acres of hunting property, while the third parcel has 284 acres of river front property for fishing. Both parcels will be sold regardless of price.

This auction will happen on June 18 at the Savannah River Preserve Lodge at 10 a.m.
