Sheldon Good to Auction Condominiums in Houston

Sheldon Good & Co. will be conducting a developer closeout auction for the remaining 18 condominium residences available at The Bristol located in the Galleria District in Houston.

Investors and buyers will have an opportunity to purchase a variety of two and three bedroom units as well as penthouses that are on the market at the 96-unit full service condominium building.

Seven residences will be sold subject to low minimum bids starting at $150,000 for two-bedroom units, and $425,000 for the penthouses. The original selling price of the homes were $1.5 million, representing a savings of up to 64%, according to the New York based auction firm.

“This auction presents unprecedented value for buyers in a luxury building of this caliber that has been a huge success and is already 80% sold,” said Mark Troen, COO of Sheldon Good. “By offering these homes at auction prices, bidders will receive a level of value that doesn’t currently exist anywhere in Houston. For the developer, it is an opportunity to sell a large amount of inventory in just one day, allowing them to move on to their next project.”

Amenities at the property include a swimming pool, fully equipped fitness center with a dry sauna, high speed wireless internet throughout all public spaces, and complimentary valet parking for all residents.

The Bristol is located within blocks of Houston’s premiere attractions, cultural institutions and area conveniences such as Greenway Plaza, Texas Medical Center, Reliant Park and the Museum District. The property is also minutes away from downtown Houston, the sixth largest metropolitan area in the country, and the condominiums are situated nearby all major freeways.

The auction will take place on Sunday, April 17 at 12 p.m. at the Hilton Post Oak.
