Andrea Johnson has been selected by US REO Partners to become the group’s new president.

Johnson, who is one of the founding members of the national REO and default resolution professional association, will help lead the organization during her two-year term. US REO Partners is a membership-based group that represents the top real estate professionals nationwide.

Currently, Johnson is a principle broker of the Re/Max Equity Group in Portland, Ore. She is a 20-year veteran of the real estate and mortgage servicing industries.

Also, Johnson watched her grandparents build a business and invest in commercial and residential real estate. Through her grandparents’ business, she performed hands-on work such as collecting rent as well as painting and cleaning homes.

“I learned early on the importance stable real estate can have on a community,” Johnson said. “More importantly, I learned how to build relationships with people and hear their needs so that I can be a better service provider.”

As president, Johnson plans to sustain US REO Partners’ efforts to strengthen existing partnerships and enhance the association’s professional members in order to position the group for future success.

“With her vast knowledge of the industry, property management and partnering, Andrea will undoubtedly be successful in helping US REO Partners continue to be the go-to source for default solutions and housing needs,” said Phil Chernitzer, founding and board member of US REO Partners and principal broker and owner of REO Real Estate/DLP Realty based in Washington, DC.

Besides her present job at Re/Max, Johnson has been a broker and managing partner of AMSAuction.com, which is now RealtyBid.com, as well as an asset manager specialist for Alternative Disposition where she supervised the service providers, bulk sales and auction companies to manage all aspects of the asset.
