Yesner & Boss Open New Office
Yesner & Boss PL have opened a new law office in Boynton Beach, Fla., to handle short sale and foreclosure cases.
The staff at the new location will consist of a mortgage and financing specialist and a real estate specialist.
“It makes sense for Yesner & Boss to have a presence here,” said Erika Rodriguez, the mortgage and financing specialist at the Boynton Beach office. “Both of the firm’s partners have roots in South Florida and we have a lot of affiliates here.”
In 2010, a record of 2.9 million properties received foreclosure filings, according to a report by RealtyTrac.
RealtyTrac said Miami was the fifth highest city in the nation for foreclosures, and currently has more than 34,000 properties going through the foreclosure process. Florida as a whole has nearly 325,000 foreclosures on the books. Two hard-hit areas are Tampa Bay and the southeast coast from Miami to Jupiter.
“The economy is showing signs of improvement, but it is going to take a long time for the real estate market to get well, especially in Florida,” said Shawn Yesner, a partner in Yesner & Boss. “There are plenty of businesses and homeowners who have struggled for years to keep up with mortgages, only to find their property values continuing to decline. We want to help find solutions that are fair to all parties.”
The firm, which was founded in 2004, protects a consumer in the fields of bankruptcy, foreclosure, mortgage modification and short sales, both commercial and residential. The firm also handles family law, personal injury and estate cases.
Besides the new Boynton Beach office, the firm’s home office is in St. Petersburg and there are also branches in Tampa and Sarasota.
