Dan Henry serves as chief executive officer of NetSpend Corporation, a leading provider of general-purpose reloadable prepaid debit cards and related financial services. He joined NetSpend in January 2008 with a primary focus for shaping the company’s vision, strategy and organizational structure. Dan established the company’s mission to empower consumers with the convenience, security and freedom to be self-banked. With this new direction, Dan diversified NetSpend’s business into different markets and increased its focus on growing direct deposit accounts. Under his leadership, NetSpend’s annual revenues have grown from $129 million in 2007 to $351 million in 2012 and cardholder accounts have grown from 700,000 in 2007 to more than 2.4 million to date. Additionally, the company has more than one million accounts on direct deposit. Dan also led the company through its initial public offering in 2010. Prior to joining NetSpend, Dan co-founded Euronet Worldwide, a global leader in processing secure electronic financial transactions. He established the company's first European office in Budapest, Hungary, and led the development of its European business. He served as Euronet’s president and chief operating officer until the end of 2006, and maintained a position on its Board until 2008. When Dan stepped down from his executive role, Euronet had annual revenues in excess of $600 million, a market capitalization of $1 billion and operated 26 offices in 23 countries, staffed by more than 1,100 employees.Dan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, Economics and Real Estate from the University of Missouri.
