In less than three years, Mark Hopkins has assisted more than 20 high-volume lenders transition to advanced appraisal management technology at Mercury Network. Mark’s career began in the Finance Industry. Trained as an IBM Systems Engineer, Mark consulted with large national banks in building the first dynamic real-time credit card transaction processing systems that anticipated fraud based upon various factors. He worked with Banks, Credit Unions and the Department of Defense on instructional design, training and skill assessment systems. For the past decade, Mark has combined this human performance knowledge with information systems expertise, and focused on mortgage origination innovation.

First, by leading a sales team at CBCInnovis and implementing fraud tools, flood certifications, credit reporting, collections and advanced identity validation systems. Second, by leading national account sales with Mercury Network during its most significant period of growth. During this time Mercury Network has grown from 500 to nearly 1,000 customers, has been awarded “Innovation of the Year” twice from Progress in Lending, and has acquired two other leading industry technology companies. Mark’s educational foundation is based in Econometrics with a BS in Economics from BYU.
