Residential Mortgage has hired Tawni Layne Laxa and Amy Miller as senior mortgage loan originators.

Laxa brings 16 years of mortgage industry experience to Residential Mortgage. She worked at Alaska USA Mortgage Co. as an assistant vice president and senior mortgage loan originator from 2007-2017, and most recently at Prime Lending where she was a senior mortgage loan originator.

Miller has 20 years of experience in mortgage lending, including 10 years as a senior mortgage loan originator at Alaska USA Mortgage Co.

CALIFORNIA

IRVINE

WEST, a Williston Financial Group/Golden Gate Capital holding, has appointed Marty Frame as chief operating officer.

Prior to WEST, Frame was president of Realtors Property Resource, a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Association of Realtors.

Before that role, he served as general manager of Cyberhomes.com for Fidelity National Financial and Lender Processing Services, and was formerly the Chief Technology Officer of Realtor.com for Move Inc.

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

WASHINGTON

Marietta Rodriguez was named president and CEO of NeighborWorks America by the organization's board of directors.

Jeffrey Bryson, who has served as interim president and CEO since September, will remain on board until Aug. 17. Bryson, who previously served as NeighborWorks America's general counsel and corporate secretary, has been with NeighborWorks America for 31 years. He plans to retire after the transition.

Rodriguez, who will begin her new position on Aug. 13, has been with NeighborWorks for 20 years and most recently worked as interim senior vice president for national initiatives.

LBA Ware has hired Jessica Henke as a consultant. Before joining LBA Ware, she was a senior corporate accounting analyst at the national power generation company Dynegy Inc.

Having begun her career in mortgage, Henke held a series of positions before exiting the industry in 2015. Her most recent roles included project accountant at Reverse Mortgage Solutions and controller at InterLinc Mortgage Services.

In addition, she has held financial-related roles at Envoy Mortgage, The Bank of New York Mellon, Aegis Mortgage and Royal Bank of Canada Mortgage.

MASSACHUSETTS

Mortgage Network Inc. said that Jack Flynn has joined the company as a loan officer in its Providence, R.I., branch.

Flynn, who brings to Mortgage Network more than 18 years of mortgage banking experience in the Greater Boston and Rhode Island area, was most recently a loan originator for loanDepot.

TENNESSEE

MEMPHIS

The Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Association said that Retta Gardner, president and CEO of Guaranty Trust Co. in Middle Tennessee, will serve as president of the association for its current 2018-2019 term.

Jeff Devereaux, of Studio Bank in Nashville, recently completed his term, and will remain on the TNMBA board of directors one more year as immediate past president.

NASHVILLE

Mickel Law Firm PA has hired Joshua Goldman as managing attorney of its Tennessee office.

Goldman brings to the firm over 12 years of creditor's rights experience in bankruptcy, foreclosure (both judicial and nonjudicial), eviction and litigation.

He is licensed to practice in Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
