Michael D. Rechtin Jr. has joined law firm Seyfarth Shaw as partner in the firm's real estate department in Chicago, where he will chair the firm's data center practice group.

Rechtin joins from Baker & McKenzie LLP where he was a partner in Chicago.

With more than 25 years of commercial real estate law experience, his practice focuses on data center transactions and leasing, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, build-to-suit transactions, financings and development.

MARYLAND

FULTON

NewDay USA has hired Garrison Foster as SVP to lead its purchase home loan division, which offers active-duty service members, veterans and their families the ability to buy a home with their VA benefits.

Foster brings nearly 20 years of experience in financial services to NewDay after helping to build and lead the purchase business at Veterans United and Bridgeview Bank.

His work includes founding the Veterans Association for Homeownership, VAhome.org, a nonprofit organization to help people better understand and receive their VA benefits.

Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. has hired Mary Beth Henderson as a senior loan officer in its Severna Park office.

Henderson has more than 15 years of experience as a loan officer specializing in residential mortgages and worked as a senior loan officer at Embrace Home Loans before joining PRMI.

Tom Borrelli has joined Northpointe Bank as vice president of national sales.

Borrelli, who brings over 30 years of lending experience to the company, previously served with On Q Financial and Chase.

Greystone said Anthony Alicea has joined the company as head of production for the portfolio lending group.

In this role, Alicea will oversee production for the firm's bridge and mezzanine lending products that complement Greystone's FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and CMBS lending products.

Throughout his 20-year career, he has led CMBS and securitization projects for Arthur Andersen's real estate consultancy, managed CMBS production at Nomura Credit & Capital Inc., and originated agency loans as well as CDO activity at Centerline Capital Group (now Hunt Mortgage).

Laurie Egan has joined The William Fall Group as vice president and general manager of its residential staff appraiser division.

Egan, who has more than 30 years of experience as a full-time appraiser, served as president of the National Association of Appraisers from 2014 to 2016.

In addition to her other roles, she has served as a senior appraisal consultant for MetLife Bank's collateral risk division and as a regulatory compliance manager for HomeStreet Bank.

PENNSYLVANIA

PLYMOUTH MEETING

New Penn Financial has promoted Kevin Harrigan to the position of president.

Harrigan joined New Penn in 2013 and most recently served as the company's chief operating officer.

He has more than 30 years of senior management experience in financial services and mortgage banking, including positions with Avantor Capital, Bank of America and KeyCorp.
