Grandbridge Real Estate Capital has named Donald Curtis senior vice president and manager of its Orange County loan origination team.

Prior to joining Grandbridge, he was a principal with Curtis Group Real Estate Inc., a mortgage-banking firm he co-founded with Hunter Curtis and Taylor Curtis in 2015.

Before starting his own company, he opened the West Coast operation of HFF in 1996, where he helped grow the company's West Coast presence from a one-man operation to five offices with more than 100 real estate professionals.

Additional Orange County new hires include former Curtis Group Real Estate team members Hunter Curtis, senior transaction manager, and Taylor Curtis, senior transaction manager.

HomeBridge Financial Services Inc. said that Teresa Hale has joined the company in the role of area manager, with a focus on Northern Florida.

Hale is a mortgage industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience and brings to Homebridge a background in sales and loan production.

In addition to her role on the Mortgage Bankers of Florida's Board of Governors, she was a past board member of the MBA of Jacksonville, an organization which she still maintains an active membership with.

AmeriFirst Home Mortgage, a division of AmeriFirst Financial Corp., has hired Jamie Brown as Southeast regional manager.

He will oversee AmeriFirst's further expansion into Florida and work out of the independent community mortgage lender's offices in Winter Park and Tampa.

Brown previously owned his own mortgage brokerage firm that he sold to Prospect Mortgage in 2010 and then served as Prospect's area production manager until 2012.

AmTrust Title Insurance Co. said that Thomas Klein, a title insurance veteran with more than 36 years of title insurance experience, has joined as senior vice president/national agency manager and manager for mid-Atlantic agency units.

Prior to joining AmTrust Title, Klein was senior vice president and national agency division manager for WFG National Title Insurance Co.

Earlier, he held senior posts for LandAmerica Financial Group where, among other responsibilities, he advised on field operations of affiliated businesses and RESPA matters.

Mission Capital Advisors has hired Daniel O'Donnell as managing director of sales and trading.

Based in Mission Capital's Dallas office, O'Donnell is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, structuring and executing the sale of performing and nonperforming loans and commercial real estate assets, as well as sourcing debt and equity placement opportunities.

Prior to joining Mission Capital, he was a managing director with Holiday Fenoglio Fowler in the firm's national loan sales group.

O'Donnell was also formerly vice president of U.S. acquisitions for FirstCity Financial Corp. and worked for Bank of America in its private wealth real estate group.
