Stonegate Mortgage Corp., Indianapolis, this week hired Rob Wilson as senior vice president of loan acquisitions.
Wilson comes to the privately held Stonegate Mortgage from Freedom Mortgage Corp., which is also based in Indianapolis. At that firm, where he worked at for almost 10 years, Wilson served as vice president/Midwest regional manager in charge of wholesale lending.
He also served as eCommerce manager for Irwin Mortgage Corporation’s wholesale division. (Irwin was a predecessor company to Stonegate.)
Stonegate is owned by Long Ridge Equity Partners, whose financial services advisory board includes Richard Mirro, former chairman and CEO of North American Mortgage Corp., once a top 10 lender, according to figures compiled by the Quarterly Data Report.
Stonegate’s CEO is Jim Cutillo, who founded the company in 2005.
