Mortech has introduced a platform that enables mortgage lenders to create a customized website for their personal brand and business.
Mortech's custom websites are designed to assist both lenders who want to create a new website and those who need to improve an existing one. They feature various mortgage tools and built-in smart 1003 applications that are accessible from a smartphone, tablet and desktop computer.
The easy-to-build and maintain websites are powered by WordPress. Features include personalized domain name and search engine, various templates, loan officer lookup, mortgage calculators and educational resources.
Borrowers increasingly are using the Internet to find their mortgage lender making it imperative for lenders have an online presence, said Doug Foral, general manager at Mortech, a Lincoln, Neb.-based provider of mortgage banking and secondary market technology. And since lenders "shy away from it due to the perceived complexity," Mortech built the platform to help take the complexity factor out of the equation, he said.
