Correctional Properties Trust, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., has announced that it will change its name to CentraCore Properties Trust at the close of business on Dec. 20.The real estate investment trust said it will continue to acquire and develop correctional facilities. "However, we have expanded our scope to include essential real estate projects outside the corrections sector, including mental health and higher education facilities," said Charles R. Jones, the REIT's president and chief executive officer. The company's common stock will continue to trade under the symbol CPV.
