Family Lending Services Inc., the mortgage banking arm of Standard Pacific Corp., a homebuilder based in Irvine, Calif., has changed its name to Standard Pacific Mortgage Inc.Richard Ambrose, president of Standard Pacific Mortgage, said the name change will "create a stronger link" with the parent company. "Although we are changing our name, we are not changing our culture and values of providing Standard Pacific consumers a streamlined homebuying process," he said.
