Freddie Mac’s Primary Mortgage Market Survey at the start of May had the 30-year fixed rate loan at a low of 3.35%. The survey results released on Thursday morning has it at 3.81%, not as steep a rise as Loanpotator has seen (remember, the Freddie Mac survey is a national average), but still a rather substantial increase in the space of a month.
