The last round of good faith estimate reform from 2010 is still causing some consternation two years later, and the industry is heading toward another round.

“Here we are in 2012, and it is still challenging for lenders,” Cathy Blaszyk, vice president of closing services at ClosingCorp, told this publication.

“There are still a lot of large lenders paying tolerance violations,” she said.
